Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort and Spa has appointed Amit Kumar as their new General Manager.
Amit Kumar joins the hotel taking on the responsibility of strengthening its operations and leading the team and management abilities.
He has 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry, which includes a decade spent with Marriott International Hotels. Amit Kumar has been well recognized for his excellent communication skills, revenue driving qualities, and valuable marketing strategies for Food and Beverages.
He was awarded RVP F&B Leader of the Year for South Asia in 2014 and under his leadership, Marriott Chennai received ‘Best Iconic Hotel’ from Times Award, also received ‘Company with Great Managers’ award powered by The Economic Times.
