Sure there is lots of drama, what with neon lights, ice shots and flaming shooters, but there are also quiet corners where you can put your feet up, snuggle into a deep sofa, sipping on a seductive Daiquiri while waiting for your Chicken Bruschetta or Mediterranean Lamb on Toast to arrive.
The retro-esque lounge has a large dance floor where patrons can shake a leg to the house and commercial tunes that are spun all night with the volume turned up to maximum and the bass set to Richter 9. And if you find that your adrenaline needs any more pumping, the bar will cater to all your needs and more. Where it’s a simple beer, or a slow and sophisticated Delux Scotch, or a theatrical flaming shooter, Fluid delivers, with a never-ending stock of Kingfisher and more. The bar’s arsenal of cocktails and shooters are quite extensive as well – from Mojitos and Pinacoladas to B-52 and Russian Roulettes.
House specialities are the Ice Shots – chilli vodka or tequila and Blue Curacao that are poured into a shot glass made of ice. Thaw your fingers with bar bites like the fiery Chilli Chicken, Masala Prawns or Khasta Kheema Chops. The main pub menu itself is peppered with comfortingly familiar Indian, Chinese and Continental food. The Lamb Goulash, Flaky Chicken and Amritsari Fish offer a promising start, which you can later augment with Lamb Racks, Cottage Cheese Steaks, Chicken Pot Noodles and flavourific Biryani. A few of their dishes are however, experimental, like the Vegetarian Vodka Penne. Sign off the evening with the sizzling Chocolate Brownie served with ice cream, which proves to be an impressive end.
