Lounge Around at Zinc

Home to South East Asian fare, Zinc serves short eats and desserts, while mains will be shortly be introduced on the menu.

The first thing that catches your eyes when you enter are the pristine walls, a white bar, mirror work, signature silver beaded curtains and cushions and shiny disco balls that lend a ubiquitous “bling” element. At Zinc, there are two sections that can easily accommodate around 120. The top section, an exclusive VIP section comes with  an added bonus of privacy,  is done in darker tones; unlike it’s sparkling silver and white counterpart.

Home to South East Asian fare, Zinc serves short eats and desserts, while mains will be shortly be introduced on the menu.  Some of the dishes are the Drunken Prawn, Honey Chilly Crispy Lamb, Thai Corn Cake, and Crispy Bombay Duck to name a few. Recommended dishes include the Teriyaki Chicken (Chinese wine, teriyaki sauce, diced chicken with dark sauce), Crispy Lotus Stem and Malaysian Ran Dang Curry (Sliced lamb with lemon grass and turmeric galangal scooped and served on Brioche), which are well paired with a pint of chilled Kingfisher pint or two. Sweet tooth’s can indulge in Zinc’s signature desserts like the Date Pancake and Chocolate Mousse.

This lounge bar has an assortment of liquors with interesting names. Try the Zinc Erneer (a mix of mint, lime, vodka topped with Red Bull) and Knight Riders (Mojito, dark rum and coke) and Fresh Fruit Martinis that are very popular here. Their signature mocktail here is the Tornado Twist (Cranberry Juice, Fresh strawberry, topped with lemonade).

Over the weekends, house and Hip-Hop are played here, while Wednesdays is Bollywood Night.
