Opened in 1998, Pebble Street is the oldest sports pub in the city, and has been every sports lover’s Mecca long before the city knew about “sports bars”. A brainchild of Ashish, Puneet and Abhishek Ahuja, it is known across the city for its giant screen which has a live telecast of every sporting action across the globe, and is specially reserved for Formula I racing seasons.
Designed on the lines of an English street, it is replete with English-styled tables and chairs lined with lamp-posts. DJ Luv mans the console with his line-up of house and commercial sets over the weekends, Rock Nights on Mondays while an in-house band called the ‘Vedas’ performs here on Tuesdays.
Home to a range of cocktails and mocktails, their signature includes the classic Long Island Iced Tea. Other recommended drinks are the Pebble Barman Dinner, Formula I, Death By Chocolate and Sangrias. They also have a ‘Six pack menu’, wherein guests get discounts when they order six shots, pegs or bottles of drinks like Cardhu, JW Gold Label, Laphroaig, Glenlivet, Belvedere, Chivas Regal, Corona, Hoegaarden and others.
The place boasts of a world menu that has a selection of Indian, Continental and other world dishes on offer.
