Mondy’s, as it’s popularly know is one such place in Mumbai that has stood the test of time much like the Rock of Gibraltar.
This small Iranian restaurant has grown over the years, and is a retro, busy, famous hangout on Colaba Causeway with Mario Miranda’s work of art that lines the interiors of the place. Though only beer is served here, the food here is great too. The place is done up classically and has remained so. The café is open from 7.00am till midnight, and is usually frequented by locals and tourists.
This restaurant is home to a predominantly Continental fare. Huxley Dimenta, General Manager, said, “Café Mondegar is a place where you can mix music and beer at one place.” Some of the recommended dishes here include the Chilli Chicken Dry, Grilled Chicken Sausages, Sautéed Chicken Capsicum and Chicken Croquette. Those who enjoy pastas can try the End the meal on a sweet note with classic Chocolate Mousse and Caramel Fruit.
So, if you’re in the mood for a leisurely meal, you know where to head to.
