Meet Neil Paterson, the General Manager of Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre (NHCC) and Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the trade & hospitality industry.
He has been with the AccorHotels since 2004 and has held various positions in multiple locations. He was most recently the General Manager of Novotel Canberra, where he was instrumental in raising the property to the number one position in STR competitor set and maintained position for over 15 months consecutively. During the past two decades he has been involved in the overall management of premium properties, sales and marketing, and has helped build the AccorHotels brand. With his dedication & commitment he has developed a mastery in various aspects of hospitality through his career.
He has held different positions like General Manager – Mercure Hotel Parramatta, Director of Sales & Marketing – Greater Sydney Hotels, Regional Director of Sales – Victoria and Tasmania hotels and others.
Neil’s multi-cultural outlook has paid rich dividends in managing international teams. Recognising the value of good quality talent, Neil has created several positive HR interventions over the years, in order to keep his employees motivated and develop a sense of service; an essential attribute in hospitality.
A firm advocate of leading with a hands-on approach and team work, Mr. Paterson has been a keen advocate of the unique Novotel experience at HICC with the planning and strategising of innovations and best practices at the Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre and Hyderabad International Convention Centre.
