Acer has officially announced the launch of its Iconia A200 tablet. The tablet will first ship with the Honeycomb 3.2 OS, and will be upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich OS in January. The 10.1-inch tablet, which weighs just 720 grams, comes with a Nvidia Tegra 2 dual core processor and 1 GB of DDR 2 RAM. It is equipped with a 2 MP front camera as well. The tablet will come in 8GB and 16GB versions; a microSD card slot will be provided for memory expansion. Its Acer Ring interface is geared for easy app access, and has a Screenshot facility to capture web images, articles, Google Maps and video call frames. The price of the tablet has not been announced at the time of writing.
