Adamo Hospitality Plans 10 hotels in India in 5 years

Adamo Hospitality, an integral part of the Ajmera Group of Companies, is planning to have ten wholly-owned properties in India in five years with about 650 rooms in the three, and four-star categories, according to a news report.

The Mumbai headquartered group has four operational hotels in the three, four-star category with 350 rooms. “All these properties are owned by us. We are planning to have a total of ten hotels in another five years with an additional 300 rooms, taking the total to 650 rooms,” said Harsh Ajmera, Director, Adamo Hospitality.

The company currently has four properties: one in Goa, two in Matheran in Maharashtra and one in Nathwara, Rajasthan. In the long run, for large-scale expansion, the company may take the route of contract management, Ajmera said.

“As of now all the properties under Adamo are owned by us. However, when we go for large-scale expansion, we may have to look for contract management option as well,” he added.

Talking about investment, Ajmera said the company is planning to spend over Rs 100 crore in developing the next five to six properties through internal accrual, stated the report.
