Alila Villas Uluwatu honoured with China Tourism Gold List Award

Alila Villas Uluwatu Bali has been awarded ‘Most Popular Overseas Hotel’ in the 7th annual China Tourism 2012 Gold List Awards. “We are honoured to be recognised for our distinction in the hospitality industry for the first designed & built EarthCheck certified luxury resort in Bali. It is the ultimate achievement to be awarded such an accolade, especially as it is voted by our guests and travel partners,” says Frederic Simon, CEO, Alila Hotels & Resorts. “It gives us great pleasure to also announce that all our Bali properties – Alila Manggis, Alila Ubud, Alila Villas Uluwatu and Alila Villas Soori – are now accepting Union Pay Credit Cards, making travel to our hotels even more accessible to the Chinese traveller.”

Launched in 2006 and hosted by leading travel magazine National Geographic Traveler China, the China Tourism 2012 Gold List Awards are fast becoming China’s most influential evaluation platform of the tourism industry. Awarded for excellence in hospitality, winners are decided by a combination of readers’ polls and industry experts’ recommendations across categories including Best Hotels, Oversea Travel Destinations, Airlines, Cruises and Car Rental Companies.
