Now Check Into Airports With Your Smartphone

Gone are the days when you had to rush to get a print out of your air ticket without which you wouldn’t be let into the airport. With The Bureau of Civil Aviation Security’s  (BCAS) new rules, air travellers can now enter airports by simply showing a soft display of air tickets on their smart phones, tablets and laptops.

According to a news report, the BCAS has issued orders for acceptability of soft display of tickets on laptops, tablets and smart phones at the entry point of airport, an official spokesperson said.

After Indian Railways’ implementation of the same system of almost a year ago, it looks like the long wait in the realm of air travel is about to come to an end.
