Cathay Pacific Airways conducted a series of sales blitz and workshops in Ahmedabad, Pune and Mumbai to mark the launch of its Premium Economy Class and the increase of direct flights to Hong Kong from Mumbai.
The team announced the launch of Premium Economy in true desi style with a brass band which included trumpets and drums that caught the attention of one and all in the agency offices.
Following the blitz, workshops were held for the travel trade fraternity in the 3 cities which consisted of interactive sessions and covered a range of topics that include Cathay’s product & service, Cathay’s home – Hong Kong, hub – Hong Kong International Airport, Hong Kong as a destination etc.
The sales blitz and workshops aim to reach out the travel agency frontline staff that sell and promote Cathay Pacific products. These activities provide an opportunity to meet and interact with the agency staff on an informal platform and update them on all the latest developments within Cathay Pacific. These sessions are the perfect blend of learning and fun and agents look forward to these workshops.
Commenting on the occasion, Rakesh Raicar, Regional Sales & Marketing Manager-South Asia, said, “We are thrilled to announce that passengers travelling on our flights between Mumbai and Hong Kong can enjoy a new level of luxury with the introduction of the new Premium Economy Class cabin.
