DoubleTree by Hilton Gurgaon Appoints Rachid Choukki as Chef de Cuisine

DoubleTree by Hilton Gurgaon – New Delhi NCR appointed Rachid Choukki as Chef de Cuisine of Casablanca, slated to be the city’s first Moroccan specialty restaurant. Chef Choukki will be responsible for food production at Casablanca and he will report to Executive Chef, Rajat Tuli. Chef Choukki joins DoubleTree by Hilton Gurgaon – New Delhi NCR from Atlantic Palace Agadir, Morocco, where he held the position of Sous Chef.  A Moroccan national, Chef Choukki brings with him twelve years of combined experience gather after receiving an associate of art degree (AA) in Culinary Technician & Chefs from Pratique et Theorie, Marrakech, Morocco.

In his former position at Atlantic Palace, Agadir, Morocco, Chef Choukki was responsible for handling the operation of all restaurants at the hotel.  Prior to that, he was associated with Hotel Mazagan Beach Resort EL Jadida Morocco. Chef Choukki has also held positions at The Club, Abu Dhabi, and Habtoor Grand Beach Resort & Spa, Intercontinental Hotel, Dubai, among other hotels and resorts.  During this tenure he enriched his experience in Moroccan, Italian, Asian and continental cuisines with specialised trainings in presentation and teaching skills.
