With its first section featuring 807 rooms, numerous restaurants and lounges, JW Marriott Marquis’ Dubai will open its doors to guests this year. Set at a height of 355 meters, the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai is the world’s tallest hotel building and is 26 meters shorter than the Empire State Building in New York. The United States’ MICE segment will be one of the key targets of the JW Marrioht Marquis Dubai team and contributes $106 billion to that country’s GDP. “The potential to cater for the growing needs of the global business community is huge and we believe the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai is uniquely placed in that regard,” said Rupprecht Queitsch, General Manager. The hotel will have two ballrooms, 24 meeting rooms, convention halls where 1000 people can meet and a total of 5100 square meters of event space. Restaurants here will range from Prime 68, a boutique steak house to Atul Kochhar’s Rang Mahal Indian restaurant, Positano for Italian coastal cuisine, an Arabic restaurant and La Farine, an attractive boulangerie and social meeting spot.
