Futuristic Bar and Fine Dining at Virgin Atlantic

According to reports, Virgin Atlantic says a new, upgraded Upper Class is on the way that will offer premium paying passengers an “enhanced seat,” ”futuristic bar” and “fine dining”. Transatlantic passengers will be the first to experience the new Upper Class cabin – which Virgin promotes as “a first class experience for a business class fare” – when it is unveiled this spring, on Virgin’s Heathrow to New York JFK morning service.

Virgin said that “customised menus, new crockery and enhanced service” will be among the cabin upgrades, while details of the new cabin seating have been kept under wraps.

The changes include a new Upper Class menu, which will be offered from March 1 and include a new cheese trolley service on daytime flights and a new afternoon tea trolley on select flights.
