According to news reports, Ginger Hotels, the chain of Smart Basics hotels by Roots Corporation Limited (RCL), a subsidiary of The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) recently launched its second hotel in Bengaluru – Ginger Bangalore (Inner Ring Road). Located in the heart of the city at Inner Ring Road, opposite Embassy Golf Links, the 65-room hotel was inaugurated by Bhaskar Bhat, Managing Director – Titan Industries Limited in the presence of P K Mohankumar, Managing Director and CEO, RCL, as per a release.
Based on the unique concept of Smart Basics, the hotel exemplifies smart, stylish and chic services, all at affordable rates. With the first hotel located in Whitefield catering predominantly to an IT audience, Ginger Bangalore (Inner Ring Road) aims to focus on corporate entities and SMEs.
Speaking at the occasion, Mohankumar, said, “It gives me immense pleasure to introduce Ginger’s second hotel in Bengaluru. The new Ginger Hotel at Inner Ring Road is located across from Embassy Golf Links that houses some of the best known corporations in the world. The central location of the hotel would enable us to cater to the growing demands from corporate firms and small and medium enterprises.”
The hotel is equipped with special features like a Smart space, Safe zone, gymnasium to ensure guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay. All rooms are equipped with well-appointed amenities such as a mini-fridge, LCD TV, self-controlled air-conditioner, tea and coffee maker, and a telephone. The superior rooms come with an extra sofa-cum-bed and the hotel also provides a meeting room. Ginger offers complimentary wifi to all resident guests.
With the opening of second hotel in Bengaluru, Ginger is targeting guests travelling towards the main city or the existing set-ups of Infosys, Wipro, etc. Their main approach in markets they are already present in is to cater to micro-city level requirements by way of being present in all the pockets within a city, mainly for business purposes.
