Golkonda Hospitality to set up Rs 200-cr hotel in Mysore

Hyderabad-based Golkonda Hospitality Services and Resorts Limited, which operates the Golkonda Hotel in the city, plans to set up a hotel at Mysore with an investment worth Rs 200 crore, according to reports. The hospitality group has tied up with WorldHotels and the tie-upis on a annual fee basis, and is expected to boost international bookings for the hotel. “We expect the occupancy rate to increase to 67 per cent from the current 62 per cent by this year-end,” Suresh Reddy, Managing Director of Golkonda Hospitality was reported as saying. WorldHotels is seeing the Asia-Pacific market as a major growth driver for the company in the coming years.
