Indo-Canadian Business Chamber (ICBC) launched its fourth Regional Council at the Taj West End, Bangalore. ICBC is the only exclusive bilateral organisation dedicated to the promotion of Indo-Canadian economic and bilateral relations. Established in 1994, it is incorporated as a non-profit company in Delhi and has played a significant role both in India and Canada.
The Honourable Principal Secretary – Commerce & Industry, Government of Karnataka, K Jothiramalingam and Guest of Honour Arvind Jadhav, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary to GoK and Chairman, KUIDFC attended the evening. The audience was a representation from a plethora of industries, including IT, ITES, Retail and Manufacturing sectors.
Speaking on the occasion, the newly appointed Chairperson of Bangalore Regional Council Pradipta Banerjee, Vice President – Human Resources, CGI India Global Delivery Center said, “I am excited about the opportunity and strongly believe that organisations in Karnataka will be able to leverage ICBC to generate more business and create more business connections. As a business Chamber, ICBC will strive to provide a nourishing environment for businesses to come together, learn and grow.”
