Jet Airways’ Educational Excursion Program

As part of Jetspark, an initiative of Jet Airways, to reach out to their young travellers, and in association with CHILDReach, an NGO dedicated to a community-based development for children in India; 25 special children were treated to an exciting and educational journey.

They visited the aircraft maintenance hangar at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport where they explored the interiors and exteriors of a Boeing 737, and were educated on the workings of an aircraft. This half-day event also included an interaction with the pilots, engineers and cabin crew along with a quiz competition. Other entertainment like music and dance were also a part of the program. Nikos Kardassis, Chief Executive Officer, Jet Airways said, “It is indeed a privilege for us to work with these notable NGOs and their wards. It is most gratifying to see smiles lighting up the little faces as the children look forward to such an educative program.”
