Jet Airways’ JetPrivilege Programme Wins triple honors at Freddie Awards 2012

Jet Airways’ JetPrivilege programme has swept the annual Freddie Awards 2012, held in New York. JetPrivilege won in three categories namely ‘Program of the Year’, ‘Best Promotion for Earning –The JetPrivilege -Trip Advisor Promotion’ and ‘Best Customer Service’ in the Middle East/Oceania/Asia region. Siva Ramachandran, Regional Vice President Americas, Jet Airways, received the awards on behalf of the airline at a glittering ceremony in New York in the presence of dignitaries from the travel and trade industry.

Sudheer Raghavan, Chief Commercial Officer, Jet Airways, said “The unique treble by the JetPrivilege team at the Freddie Awards 2012 gains significance when one considers that these are indeed the most respected and coveted awards in the travel loyalty segment. The airline had previously been honoured at the Freddie Awards for five consecutive years, from 2004 to 2008, in the Japan, Pacific, Asia and Australia region. Introduced in 1988 by Inside Flyer magazine’s Randy Petersen, the Freddie Awards have grown in stature and importance to become the most prestigious member-generated awards in the travel loyalty industry.
