Jet Airways recently introduced JetKonnect, their consolidated LoFare service offering.
JetKonnect, which came into effect on March 25, replaces JetLite and Jet Airways Konnect as an individual brand and service offering. JetKonnect will service 56 cities within India and one international city, with over 400 daily flights with a mix of Boeing and ATR aircraft. In the economy cabin, meals are available on ‘buy on board’ through JetCafé. Frequent fliers can also continue accumulating JPMiles with JetPrivilege while flying this service. Their official website, jetkonnect.com, supports online booking and check-in.
Travellers also have the option of flying Première with full meal service on select routes. In April, the brand enhanced its premium service offering with the introduction of its Premiere service onboard its S2 coded flights. Premiere cabins are to be introduced on JetKonnect aircrafts in a phased manner, commencing with several sectors including Mumbai-Delhi, Kolkata-Guwahati/Delhi/Agartala, Imphal-Guwahati, Mumbai-Aurangabad, Hyderabad/Nagpur/Bengaluru-Mumbai, Delhi-Bengaluru/Chandigarh, among others. JetKonnect guests on these flights would enjoy the airline’s Premiere services, identical to that offered by the full-service Jet Airways, including plush, extra-wide seats, extra legroom, and personalised, multi-course dining options.
According to Sudheer Raghavan, Chief Country Officer, Jet Airways, “We are delighted with the strong guest response to the launch of JetKonnect, our dedicated low-fare service. The extension of our Premiere services to certain JetKonnect S2 flights is a step towards product harmonization of the JetKonnect brand, and is in keeping with the increasing demand from our guests for premium services on select routes. We are confident that JetKonnect Premiere, which will be introduced on all JetKonnect Boeing 737 aircraft in a phased manner, will prove extremely popular with guests.”
