Louvre Hotels, one of the largest hotel chains in Europe, has opened a boutique hotel —Tulip Inn — in Ahmedabad. The three-star hotel brand is one of the latest to come up on the SG Highway, which already has a number of hotels such as Marriott, Ramada Inn, Pride and Cambay. “Though the city is facing an oversupply of four and five-star-category rooms, there is an acute shortage when it comes to three-star rooms. We have therefore priced our rooms between Rs 4000-7000,” says NK Patel, Managing Director of Sun Builders, which owns the property located in Sola. The 42-room hotel has been designed to cater to business executives, he added.
