Sharp’s latest offering, the Aquos Hybrid 007SH, is the first smartphone with a 16 megapixel camera, and has a 3.4-inch LCD display that can reproduce 3D imagery through its stereoscopic vision.
A secondary or external auxiliary screen will display messages, incoming calls and so on. It also has a mini HDMI port and an inbuilt digital TV tuner for mobile television. The Aquos Hybrid, which is surmised to be a clamshell phone, will also be waterproof.
It will go on sale in Japan through Softbank shops; however, there is no news about the launch of the smartphone in other countries.
