Shubhendu Kadam appointed as the Executive Chef at Courtyard by Marriott Pune City Centre

Chef Shubhendu Kadam has been appointed as the Executive Chef at Courtyard by Marriott Pune City Centre. He brings with him 16 years of experience in the hospitality domain with a flexible approach towards work and excellent organisational skills. With a varied  all round experience in Asian cuisine, Tapanayaki cuisine, Western banquets, Fine dining and speciality seafood restaurants, the Chef also encompasses an expertise in preopening and refurbishing of Hotel F&B, Speciality restaurants and Cruise Ships in India, Philippines and USA.

Before joining Courtyard by Marriott Pune City Centre, Chef Shubhendu was the pre opening  Executive Chef at Radisson Blu, Goa where he was responsible for creating contemporary menus and setting benchmark standards for the products offered.

Chef Shubhendu’s association with the Marriott Group of Hotels began in February 2003 at Goa Marriott Resort where he worked as a Sous Chef till Dec 2008.Chef Shubhendu then flew to the Philippines to work at the Marriott Cebu City from June-August 2008.

Chef Shubhendu started his career as a Commis – II chef at Hyatt Regency, New Delhi in October 1996. His career stints also include working at Park Hyatt Goa and Fort Aguada Beach Resort, Goa as and the Intercontinental Goa.
