Tamir Kobrin is Leela Palace New Delhi’s new General Manager

Tamir Kobrin has been named the new General Manager of The Leela Palace New Delhi. With nearly 20 years of hospitality experience in the United States, Caribbean, Europe, Middle East and South-East Asia, Kobrin takes over the operations of ‘The Leela’s’ flagship hotel of the city.

Starting his career from the Three Kings Hotel in Basel in Switzerland, he brings with him varied experience of working in properties like Raffles Grand Hotel D’ Angkor, The Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong, Aleenta Resorts in Hua Hin and others. Prior to joining The Leela, Kobrin was responsible for the pre-opening of the Stone House 1854 in Little Compton, Rhode Island. Joining The Leela in 2008, in the capacity of General Manager, his claim to fame was to oversee pre-opening, opening and operations of the award-winning Leela Palace Udaipur, which were designed to showcase the uninterrupted, captivating views of romantic Udaipur, the heritage city, the Aravalli hills and the City Palace.

On being the lead man for the showcase of Leela’s property in the capital, he says, ““Following the successful launch and positioning of The Leela Palace Udaipur, I see my appointment as an exciting challenge, once again.
