Trafalgar, the award winning European travel and tourism leader, organized its debut visit to India from November 26-28, on the occasion of its 65th anniversary. The visit was intended to promote awareness of the company’s brand portfolio while introducing a number of new European itineraries to the Indian market. Titled ‘Inspired Holidays’, the new tour packages will aim to provide travellers with a local insider perspective on several historical and contemporary landmarks in across the continent. Also launched were Trafalgar’s First Class summer itineraries, which offer a series of over 40 dining experiences in family homes, farms, wineries and a host of private venues. Speaking at a press conference, Nicholas Lim, Regional Director – Asia, Trafalgar, said “Indians are avid travellers and are always ready to explore unique and hidden treasures instead of the usual trips. We make sure to go extra mile to bring forward all these European dream destinations along with their authentic experiences closer to our clients than ever before. In our 65 years’ of experience in guided holidays, we have revealed the world around us to millions of satisfied travellers. Besides the First Class programme, Trafalgar also unveiled the 2013 CostSaver range of holidays, which is packed with 34 cost-effective itineraries that allow travelers to book affordable vacations. According to Trafalgar Travel Director, Tony Emmerson, “There is a story behind each destination that allow our travellers to truly get a feel for the places they visit”.
