Courtyard by Marriott, Bhopal recently appointed Amit Vashist as Executive Chef. Vashist has over a decade of experience in the F&B segment and his core expertise lies is in European and Indian cuisine. Prior to joining Courtyard by Marriott, Bhopal, he was associated with Oberoi Hotels and Resorts, where he headed kitchens at Trident Jaipur, Trident Udaipur and Clarkes Hotel, Shimla. In his most recent assignment, he was the Executive Chef at Dream Cochin.
In his 12-year career, he has worked with hotels like Taj Coromandel and Taj Madras Flight Kitchen, Park Hotel Chennai, The Oberoi Rajvilas, Trident Gurgaon, The Oberoi Grand Hotel, Kolkata, and The Oberoi, New Delhi. Vashist graduated from the Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development in Kitchen Management in 2007. Thereafter, he joined Trident Jaipur as Kitchen Executive.
