Tourism Minister to Donate Rs One Crore to Uttarakhand Flood Victims

UttarakhandAccording to news reports, Dr K Chiranjeevi, Minister of State with Independent Charge for Tourism, Government of India, will contribute Rs one crore from his Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) fund and his one month’s salary for the flood victims in Uttarakhand. He said that the government is continuously monitoring the rescue operations and welfare of the victims, a release stated.

The Minister has appealed to people to support the victims Uttarakhand. Today, he met the family of a missing Char Dham pilgrimage victim in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh at the latter’s residence, along with Botsa Satyanarayana, Minister for Transport, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
